Ghanaians Bash Sarkodie For His ‘Hypocritical’ Comment On E-levy

Ghanaians on Twitter are dragging the King rap music, Sarkodie following his recent comment on the controversial e-levy.

African most decorated rapper, Sarkodie finally reacted to the controversial e-levy tax imposed by the government on Ghanaians.

The e-levy has become a central topic for discussion in Ghana since the Government through the Ministry of Finance proposed the electronic transaction tax during the last year’s budget for 2022.

Many Ghanaians have expressed their displeasure since the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, announced the government’s decision to introduce the electronic transaction levy.

Many have taken to social media to chastise the move and have described the policy to loot the average Ghanaian of the little income he makes.

Reacting to the e-levy saga, Sarkodie took to Twitter to say that Ghanaians are resisting the e-levy tax because the politicians misuse the country’s money.

According to the rapper, the government is not creating avenues for the citizens.

It seems Ghanaians were expecting more from the rapper however they were left in disappointment after the rapper went low key on his opinion of the e-levy.

The unsatisfied Ghanaians roasted and dragged the Anadwo singer over a ‘hypocritical’ comment on the e-levy saga.

Sarkodie has always been tagged with the NPP party mostly especially after he subtle endorsed Nana Addo in his Happy day song.
