Ghana Moves Up In First Fifa Ranking For 2020

Ghana has emerged the best mover as the country moved up in the latest FIFA February 2020 ranking.

Ghana moved one spot up in the top 50 list as the country was tied with Costa Rica in the 46^th position.

However, the points gained and progress in FIFA’s top 50 did not affect the country’s position in Africa as they still remain 6^th.

They are only better on the log than Egypt, Cameroon, Mali and DR Congo in the Top 10.

Senegal remain the top-ranked African side though 20^th on the world ranking.

Tunisia and Nigeria follow in 2^nd and 3^rd respectively with African champions Algeria fourth.

Morocco join them as the Top 5 highest-ranked African sides.

Belgium continue to stay top on the overall ranking with world champions France, Brazil, England and Uruguay making up the Top 5.
