Ghana Moves To 12th Position After winning Gold

Ghana has moved to the 12th position in the ongoing African games happening in Rabat, Morocco.

This was when Sean Sarfo- Antwi, Benjamin Azemati, Martin Owusu- Antwi and Paul Joseph Amoah won Gold for Ghana in the 400×100 in the athletics games.

Ghana was at 26th on the medal table but the gold medal won by these athletes and one Rose yeboah significantly moved Ghana to the 12th position on the medal table on Wednesday, 28th August.

Grace Obuor won bronze for Ghana in the 400 meters and three bronzes was won by Christian Amoah in weightlifting. Christopher Forester Osei won a silver medal.

The total medals won by these athletes were count of 11, eight bronze medals, one silver and two golds.

The games will be coming to an end on Saturday, 31st August and the positions are likely to change.

Egyptians are the leaders in this tournament with 177 medals, with South Africa having 66 medals, Nigeria 64, hosting nation Morocco having 79.
