For the first time in a while, Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, has praised the Ghanaian president. This is for his introduction of the Ghana Card, whose aim is to “provide a complete value-added integrated multi-sectoral and multipurpose national identity system through the innovative use and application of information and communication technology to facilitate the social, economic, and political development of Ghana.”
Talking on Twitter, Lydia Forson revealed that as long as the Ghana card helps trace people, especially online fraudsters, it makes her happy.
She said:
I will continue to say over and over again that the Ghana card is probably one of the BEST things
@NAkufoAddo has ensured it’s successful implementation. I’ve hated the stress so much but knowing it will make it much easier to trace people,esp online fraudsters make me so HAPPY
