GFA Urged To Encourage Former Black Stars Players Return To The Local League

CEO of Asa Group of Companies, Abraham Sarbeng Antwi has called on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to ignite the Bring Back the Love campaign by encouraging more former Black Stars players to return to the local league.

The just ended Ghana transfer window witnessed the return of some high-profile players with Ghana’s all-time top goal scorer Asamoah Gyan signed for Legon Cities FC. At the same time, former CFR Cluj and Steaua Bucuresti midfielder Sulley Muniru also joined Asante Kotoko.

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based radio station, Angel FM, Abraham Sarbeng Antwi made it a point to educate GFA on the importance of having these players in the league.

“The Ghana Football Association been the mother Body in Ghana should take an initiative that will see our former Black Stars players featuring in our local scenes. This ex-players will add value to our leagues and also boost our branding and marketing aspect well.

He added that should the FA make it a priority to bring in the players and their aim and plans will be fruitful which help raise the value and standard of the league.
