Joy FM’s sports Journalist, Gary AI-Smith has broken his silence after reports emerged that he has tested positive for deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).
In a post he made on his Facebook timeline, Gary disclosed that he is one of the five (5) workers who have contracted the virus at Multimedia Group.

He added that after several consultation with his family, they have decided right from now, he would be speaking about his experience on Radio and Television.
He wrote; Hello friends, As per this statement, Multimedia has recorded five cases of COVID-19.
I’m one of the five.
After consultation with my family, we have decided that from tonight, I’ll be speaking on radio and TV about my experience.
We believe this can be my small way of battling the stigmatization problem we face.
I’m doing very well, so no need to panic.
