Full List Of Nominees For VGMA 2020; No Shatta Wale, No Stonebwoy

Hey there, Gossips24.com brings you a compilation of the full list of Nominees for VGMA 2020.

This year’s VGMA, which happens to be the 21st edition of Charter House’s Ghana Music Awards will for the first time in the last 10 years be held without two of Ghana’s top artists – Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

Well, fans will miss their favorite artists, but their exemption from this year’s edition is for a good reason, and if you donk know why, you can click here to find out why – Why Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were not Nominated for VGMA 2020.

Their ban, however, makes room for new faces in the reggae/dancehall category, as well as two spots for new faces for the artist of the year category.

Kofi Kinaata, Medikal, and Dianna Hamilton are the new faces to join Sarkodie and Kuami Eugene who were nominated in the artist of the year category in 2019.

Also, the likes of Jupitar, J Derobie, and Ras Kuuku, have gained spots in the Reggae/Dancehall song and artist of the year categories because of the absence of Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

This year’s unsung category will be battled out by fine talents – Gyakie, Sherry Boss, Imrana, Abochie, Teflon Flexx, and Kofi Jamar.
