Nominees for the second edition of the 3Music Awards were announced yesterday February 1.
3Music Awards in collaboration with the Multimedia Group together with the Fantasy Dome announced the nominees for this years awards via online and Joy FM.
The second edition of the 3music Awards is set to come off on Saturday, March 16 at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair Centre, Accra.
The nominations include many of the talented acts whose works distinguished them in the year under review which is November 1 2017-October 31, 2018.
Joe Mettle, Joyce Blessing, Evangelist I.K Aning, Diana Hamilton, among others were nominated for the Gospel act of the year category.
Category like the Fan Army of the Year which was part of maiden edition remained unchanged and the nominees are Shatta Movement, 69 Fans (Fans of Maccasio), Gadam Nation, Sark Nation, Bhim Nation, Manifans, Pa2Pa Soldiers, AMG Beyond Control, Team Move and Shay Fans.
There are a number of awards to be won in categories including Music Man of the Year, Music Woman of the Year, Group of the Year, Breakthrough of the Year, Next Rated Act of the Year, DJ of the Year, Hip hop Song of the Year, African Act of the Year, Best GH International Act of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Male Act of the Year and Female Act of the Year.
According to the organisers the 2019 3music awards which is the second edition will be “bigger and better.”
