Full Gist: CK Akonnor To Be Paid GHc1,660,176.10 By GFA After His Dismissal

Now former coach of the Black stars Coach CK Akonnor is said to be owed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) a whooping $275,000 as his takeaway pay after he was sacked as the head coach of the Black Stars.

According to reports CK Akonnor had an agreement with the GFA before his appointment as the coach which stated that he would be paid $25,000 per month to lead the senior national team beginning in January 2020.

His contract further added that in case he was to be sacked before the two-year contract signed with him expired he would be paid the remaining months ahead which when calculated was four months away.

CK Akonnor was said to have been owed for seven months which amounts to approximately $175,000 by the FA as well as $100,000 for the remaining four months he was supposed to act as the coach of the Black Stars.

In total the former coach of the national team would be taking an amount of $275,000 as his pay after been sacked as the coach of the Black Stars.
