The Evangelical Assemblies of God Church in Ho Ahoe of the Volta Region has been razed down by fire. The fire reportedly started at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
Some youth of the Church were reportedly conducting a Facebook live service at the premises when the fire started.
They were immediately evacuated after they were prompted of a smoke billowing from a section of the building.
Firefighters have responded to distress calls and have been captured battling the fire to contain the blaze as the team tried to salvage the remains of the church. According to some eyewitnesses, they saw an airconditioner affixed to the office of the senior pastors on fire a few minutes before 7:00 pm.
