Ghanaian Afro-pop star Peter Famiyeh Bozah, also known as Fameye, will release his new single titled ‘Thank God It’s Friday’ (TGIF) today.
Produced by B2 of Dope Nation fame, the mid-tempo and danceable piece features a prolific Ghanaian disc jockey, DJ Mic Smith.
The video for the song which was shot and directed by Jeneral Jay is almost ready and would be released soon after the song hits the market.
Critics have described the new single as a very good song that would surely earn Fameye a lot of respect in the music industry.
Fameye, though new on the music scene, has demonstrated with his ‘Nothing I Get’ track that he has done his homework well enough to give Ghanaians just what they expect from a new artiste.
He recently released a remix of the song ‘Nothing I Get’, which featured Article Wan, Medikal and Kuami Eugene.
His previous single titled ‘Chairman’, which featured Joey B, dominated the airwaves for weeks.
He is billed to perform at this year’s edition of Citi FM’s annual musical concert dubbed ‘Decemba 2 Rememba’ slated for December 24 at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
