Just In: Fake NDC Soldier Arrested During Voters ID Registration Exercise ( Details + Photos)
An NDC supporter has been arrested by the Police in the Western Region for portraying to be a military personnel for the Ghana Armed Forces.
According to sources, he was arrested during the voters registration exercise at Nkwanta. According to him;
The NDC Paliamentary candidate for Dormaa West constituency and former deputy minister for youth and sports ( Vincent oppong Asamoah) empoyed him to serve personal security guard in the course of the voters registration exercise.
He was arrested for wearing a military uniform, whilst he is not an officer of the Ghana Armed forces.
This act is considered as crime according Ghana’s Constitution, because according to the law, citizens are restricted from using any military stuff as it is illegal.
