Former Blackstars player Quincy Owusu Abeyie has said goodbye to his football career after decades of playing football professionally.
After hanging his boots as a footballer, the Ghanaian midfielder has rediscovered himself as he takes up his music talent which he laid waste for so many years.
The 33-year-old young sportsman has released his commercial single to kick start his musical career.
Abeyie who now is called BLOW in the music circles had his recent rap piece talk about his experience in The Netherlands and the kind of experience he had and the ex[posure he encountered.
When asked why he chose the name BLOW, he explained that he used to blow up all his money and lived a highly lavish life.
His EP which is dubbed ‘The Chapter’ sees him strapped in an Arsenal jersey with 54 embossed on it. Away to relive his Arsenal memories.
Speaking on which he had to make a switch so quick to do music, he had this as a res; response: “I have thought about it for a long time.
“Now that I am releasing my first solo mixtape, I want to show the world: this is me. This is what I am doing now.
“There was no Ronald de Boer type around in our neighborhood who said ‘With football, you have a future’.
“My role models were the money makers of the block. The street men driving around in horrible cars. “That was then the s*** for me, later I grew older and I made other choices. “I hope to make the people from the neighborhood proud. First as a footballer and now as an artist.”
