ELECTIONS 2020: Voting resumes at Volta Region after heavy rainfall

Gossips24.com has been reliably informed that voting has at some polling stations resumed after heavy downpour.

Some polling stations halted the voting process after rainstorm disrupted the electoral process.

Asante Akyem Agogo, Techiman, and some part of Central Region also had their process also disrupted by the rainfall.

However, the Ghana police Service has confirmed that voting prcess has resumed some areas in the above-mentioned.

Election Security Update:Voting is progressing steadily and peacefully across the country.

The post read; Voting has also resumed at places where the process was halted due to rainstorm. The Police are reminding all, especially those who have the opportunity to use the mass media space to be mindful of their language use.

All allegations of crime and impropriety are being investigated.Security personnel have been sent to the Polling Stations where we have observed the absence of security presence. Also, security personnel will escort all ballot boxes to their collation centres before logging out of their polling station duties.
