With less than 30 days to the December polls, several political parties are embarking on campaigns in the various regions and constituencies to sell their messages to the electorates with the hope of capturing political power.
One of the latest gargantuan rallies is the NPP’s National Organizer, Sammi Awuku, and other stalwarts storming Wa Central.
Sammi Awuku and the party’s Parliamentary candidate for the constituency, Hajia Humu pulled a massive crowd in a street campaign in a bid the seat from the opposition National Democratic Congress’ Rashid Pelpuo.
Mr. Awuku, who is on a tour of the Region, is confident and optimistic the political tables will turn in favour of the NPP to win the Parliamentary seat during the elections.
“For the first time in many years I could see many young ones and old joining the NPP on the streets, saying 4 more for Nana and 4 for Hajia”, Sammi Awuku said.
The NPP Parliamentary candidate, Hajia Humu Awudu also hoped to unseat the incumbent MP.
