Efia Odo ‘Caught’ For Lying About Her Electricity Bills On Social Media

A fan has slammed Ghanaian social media celebrity Efia Odo for ‘arguably’ lying to the public about her Electricity charges.

Yesterday the social media influencer was crying out loud over her recent electricity charges in her home.

She said the new electricity meters deployed by the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to be used in domestic homes seem to read faster than the old ones.

She added that she now has to buy 500 Ghana Cedis worth of electricity credits every 10 days for her to enjoy electric power in her house. She tweeted “500 cedis prepaid finished in 10days. This new meter is something else, smh!“.

A Twitter fan reacting to the tweet from the model stated that he believes Efia Odo is lying about the whole thing of paying or buying 500 Ghana Cedis worth of electricity credit every 10 days for her house.

According to him, his restaurant which uses four big deep freezers, five commercial beverage storage refrigerators, 13 air conditions, computers, sound systems, microwaves, blenders, and other small appliances with lights on every time buys 350 Ghana Cedis worth of electricity credits every 2 weeks.

“This nkoaa dierr Efia Odo Dey lie! Ah madam, my restaurant buys 350 cedis every 2 weeks. We use four big deep freezers, five commercial beverage storage refrigerators, lights are on 24/7, 13 ACs, computers, sound systems, microwaves, blenders and other small small appliances”.
