Hon. Victor Aleke, Ebonyi North West Constituency representative, has been suspended by the Ebonyi State House Assembly today, November 13.
The lawmaker was suspended over some misconduct allegations.
The Leader of the State House, Mr. Victor Chukwu declared two motion. One was for the suspension of Mr. Aleke for misconduct and the other sought to suspend Clement Odah, the executive chairman of Ohaukwu Local Government Area, over some financial misappropriations.
At the end of the day, the Speaker of the House, Francis Nwifuru approved Aleke’s suspension but disapproved Odah’s.
