After the official unveiling of Ibrahim Mahama’s Dzata Cement which is the only locally owned cement company in the country – It was been wildly rumored on the local digital space that the price of a bag of the building product is Ghc 30.
Many Ghanaians were happy about this news because the latest price of cement on the market ranges between GHc 50-54 so this was certainly a game changer for real estate developers and ordinary Ghanaians as well.
Unfortunately, it is now clear that Dzata Cement will be selling at the same price just like Ghacem, Dangote cement and the rest.
According to the management of the company, they haven’t officially come out with prices of their products and they will do so at the appropriate time.
Hence the general public should disregard reports that it’s been sold at Ghc30 or at any other price.
