During the inauguration of President Akufo-Addo yesterday, the newly elected Speaker of Parliament, Hon Rtd Alban Bagbin mistakenly honoured Ramatu Bawumia an alleged first wife of the vice President instead Samira Bawumia.
After noticing his mistake, he swiftly made the correction and said; “oh this is the name I was given” and went on to mention Samira Bawumia’s name.
A Facebook user identified as Stephen Kwabena Attah has come out to allege that the name of Bawumia’s first wife was intentionally submitted to the Speaker of Parliament for Ghanaians to know some secrets about the Vice President.
According to him, the person who wrote the name should be questioned for indirectly disgracing Dr Bawumia.
As soon as I heard the name Ramatu Bawumia, I knew the person who submitted the list to the Speaker wants Ghanaians to know something. Who composed the list
Well, since the beans have already been spilt, wild spread speculations on the local digital space has it that Ramatu Bawumia is the first wife of Dr. Bawumia.
She has deliberately chosen to stay out of the public eye and goes about her business in WaleWale where she is very popular and well respected.
It has also been asserted that she has 5 children with Dr Bawumia who are all residing in UK at the moment
