Don’t Force Me To Record A Song On Current Hardships – Sarkodie

Rapper Sarkodie has told party activists to desist from pushing him to hit the studio like he did under John Mahama’s reign.

Sarkodie during the hard times under erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration released songs that told the average Ghanaian’s story.

In 2015 he released a popular song which spoke for the masses, but many think that step by Sarkodie has changed in recent times.

Although times are extremely hard under this Akufo-Addo led administration, he hasn’t released any song to address them.

Social media users believe that he should hit the studio as well and make government aware of the fact that the country is not in good standing and things are not right.

The rapper has however responded to such calls said in a tweet, he wrote; ” If you are a party follower don’t pour your frustrations on me to go to the studio… I was pushed to record not by tweets but what I felt within me personally”.
