Mongers, Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kwabena Bonney, popularly known as DKB has announced his retirement from the Ghana comedy industry.

The former Big Brother Africa star, took to twitter to announce the end of the road for his short-lived career in the comedy industry of Ghana.

According to DKB, he is tired and has had enough of “negativity & disrespect”.

He revealed the constant backlash and trolls from Ghanaians is heavily affecting his mental health as his fans have refused to show him love publicly over the period.

I’m RETIRING from comedy. I’m tired. Enough of negativity & disrespect, I didn’t kill anyone, I just make people laugh, so why the insults in return? My mental health is important to me. So-called fans also don’t show love publicly. I’ve lifted Ghana comedy, done my part.” – he tweeted.
