Dancehall Is Dead – Kwaw Kese

Veteran Hiplife Artiste, Kwaw Kese has asserted that the Dancehall genre of music in Ghana is dead and can never be revived in Ghana again.

Kwaw Kese during the ‘lyrical battle’ between Strongman and Medikal revealed that his ‘Dondo’ song is the cause of their feud.

He emphasized that his song has revived the hiplife genre which was overshadowed by the dancehall genre.

Recall that the ‘Dondo’ hitmaker in an interview on Zylofon FM disclosed that Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were keeping the dancehall genre alive and that their hype has gone down after they smoked the peace pipe.

Kwaw Kese also opined that rap music or hiplife has taken over the music industry now.

The CEO of Madtime Entertainment took to his twitter handle to divulge that Dancehall is no more and people hurling insults at him are dancehall lovers who just can’t accept the bitter truth.

He tweeted:

“All the people insulting are dancehall lovers. Pls dancehall is not coming back to Gh oo. Jamaicans take dema thing back
Dancehall fo no Monb) #Dondo na 3b3boa mo “
