The angel of death welcomed Ghana’s Highlife icon, Daasebre Gyamenah on the 29th day of July, 2016 at the 37 Military Hospital.
Per reports after the unexpected demise of the Highlife icon, Daasebre was battling with some strange illness but couldn’t survive in the early hours of the above-mentioned date.
But in the rightful thinking of Joshua Agyekum who used to be the Chief drummer of the late musician, Daasebre’s demise can’be taken lightly as he feels someone close to the highlife artiste engineered the whole course.
Joshua Agyekum popularly known in Koforidua as “Nyame na ose” to wit, only God can decide, in an exclusive interview with Fante Quoo of Inside Prime Page television, there’s a lot he can’t actually disclose behind the cameras.
However, all that he can say is Daasebre Gyamenah was killed by someone closer to the artiste who wanted to take Daasebre’s shine. To his best knowledge, there were also relatives who were riding on the name ‘Daasebre’ to engage in a lot of fraudulent acts.
Regardless, Nyame na ose, the chief drummer and tight friend of the late Daasebre disclosed that plans are underway to feed music enthusiasts with some unreleased records of Daasebre.
He debunked reports that Daasebre had no properties and promised to show the world the numerous properties the highlife legend left behind.
He further stated that Daasebre’s legacy being thrown to the dogs! He revealed funds will be generated to carter for his kids via shows which will be held to celebrate the artiste.
