Coronavirus In Ghana: Ghanaian celebrities react after two cases were confirmed

Ghana’s Minister of Health, Kwasi Agyemang-Manu in a press conference today confirmed two cases of coronavirus here in Ghana.

The cases are ‘imported cases’, according to the Health Minister both individuals returned to Ghana from Norway and Turkey respectively.

The news has struck immense fear in some Ghanaians of various classes. Some celebrities have also reacted to the bad news that came in the late hours of Thursday, 12 March 2020.

Dancehall artist Shatta Wale advised Ghanaians to stay safe and do what is necessary to avoid spreading the Coronavirus. He tweeted; “We need y’all alive Be safe out there Ghana shall survive this”

Actress Yvonne Nelson, on the other hand, advised boys and girls to stop cheating on their partners to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus. She tweeted; “Boyfriends/husbands drop the cheating. This is not the season. Pls. Your fam is at risk! Those who cant stay at one place. “

Rapper Joey B made a shocking revelation as he claimed there was a long queue at the pharmacy in the late hours of the day. He wrote, “never seen a queue this long at a pharmacy. its 11:54pm wow. “
