Concentrate on my music and forget about my skin – Becca on bleaching allegations
Ghanaian songstress, Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong, known mononymously as Becca has lashed out at critics for saying she has a bleached skin.
Ghanaians have, over the weeks, wondered when and how Becca, our African woman got a white skin.
The songstress has been known as a ‘brown skin girl’, but her recent photos look like she is British or a wanna-be Irish singer.
Many believe she might have bleached her skin a little to give it the new tone we see in the cameras and on instagram lately.
However, the Yes I Do singer seems not to be worried by the allegations trooping in that she has bleached her skin.
Becca in the studios of Peace FM reiterated that she can’t change people’s perception about her and she can’t control what people say about her but that wouldn’t stop her from being herself and speaking the truth.
She therefore advised those analysing her skin from afar to channel that energy into the consumption and sharing of her music and have fun with as that’s more profitable.
