Coach Otto Addo to be named as Blackstar’s assistant manager

Otto Addo, the assistant manager of Borussia Dortmund, is expected to join the Black Stars as an assistant coach.

Between 1999 and 2006, the 45-year-old played for Ghana, and was a member of the team that won the country’s first World Cup in Germany.

Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as a scout for Ghana before joining FC Nordsjlland as an assistant manager.

Since then, Addo has worked as an assistant coach for both Borussia Monchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Meanwhile, former Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is the clear favorite to take over as the Black Stars’ new manager.

After failing to reach an agreement with other candidates, the FA is claimed to have landed on the Serbian tactician.

Just a week ago, he Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council relieved Black Stars Coach – Charles Akonnor and his two assistants from their positions.
