Legendary highlife musician Nana Ampadu who has thrilled Ghanaians with lots of hit songs is having his 40 days celebration currently ongoing at the police Depot in Tesano.
The music icon was said to have died on Tuesday, September 28 after he battled with an illness that made him bedridden for a while until his demise.
Nana Ampadu was said to have passed away at the Legon hospital after being sent to the Achimota hospital where the doctor was said to be sleeping and could not be woken from his sleep.
The musical icon is said to be the mentor of several musicians including Sam Derchie, Teacher Boateng, Nanaba Amoako, Senior Eddie Donkor, and Prince Osei Kofi.
