Check out Lydia Forson’s powerful tribute to Dr Kwame Nkrumah as we remember the African Hero today

Born on September 21, 1909, Dr Kwame Nkrumah would have been 112 years old today if he was to be alive. Today being a day set aside to remember his birthday, many Ghanaians have taken to their timelines on the various social media platforms to heap praises on the African hero.

Actress and movie producer, Lydia Forson has also dropped a powerful message from Dr Kwame Nkrumah to mark and grace the “Nkrumah Day”

She wrote;

As far as I am concerned,I am in the knowledge that death can never extinguish the torch which I have lit in Ghana and Africa. Long after I am dead and gone,the light will continue to burn and be borne aloft,giving light and guidance to all people.” Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah

Ghanaian politician, political thinker, and revolutionary – Dr Kwame Nkrumah was Ghana’s first Prime Minister and President, having guided the country to independence from the United Kingdom in 1957.

He died died on April 27th 1972 in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania.
