American Hip hop star Cardi B has set World record in a her career on social media over her Akua swimsuit she wore while in Ghana.
The swimsuit which cost Ghc300 ($53) garnered the most likes on Cardi B’s Instagram account in less then 14 hours after posting a photo of herself clad in the swimsuit whilst eating Khebab.
According to research conducted by Statistics Ghana (@statsgh), the photo is the most liked on her Instagram handle and perhaps from a USA artist who has ever visited Ghana.
Ace broadcaster, Abeiku Santana was the first to break the news on social media.
He wrote :
“The 300 cedis ($53), Akua swimsuit @ashantiswimwear , Cardi B rocked has had the highest likes on her Instagram page in recent months as we checked.
It’s attracted over 5 million likes in less than 14 hours.
