Cardi B deletes her Instagram page

Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, American rapper, singer, and songwriter has deleted her Instagram page.

This act is following the apparent abuse she’s received after her album “Invasion of Privacy” won the best rap album at the Grammys.

After Cardi B’s historic win at the Grammys Awards last Sunday night, the BET Twitter account made a bad joke about Nicki Minaj getting “dragged by her lacefront.”

The “Money” rapper posted a video shortly before deleting the account in which she blasted all her haters and those who said she didn’t deserve the award.

Cardi B also revealed that she does not support BET’s aim at Nicki.

“It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else, that’s not my style and that’s not what I’m with and I don’t support that,” she began.

“However, I been taking a lot of shit today, I’m seeing a lot of bullshit today and I saw a lot of  shit last night. And I’m sick of this shit. I worked hard for my motherf—ing album.”

Cardi has no reason to continuously explain herself and absolutely every reason to take a break from social media. Kudos.
