Burna Boy Keeps Ruling BET Best International Act As He Grabs It Again For The Third Time

Nigerian music hotshot Burna Boy has proceeded with his series of wins in the BET as he grabs the Best International Act category of Awards.

For the third time in succession, Burna Boy took him the plaque after he was named the champ at the 2021 BET Awards on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old beat some Nigerian artists like Wizkid, Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania, and different artists to win the honor.

He was available at the awards night and grabbed the honor himself after he botched the chance in 2019.

Speaking on the night he said “I made it this time to collect my award myself,” then showed the crowd a touch of Pidgin English “I want to teach you guys a little bit about where you are all really from,” he said with his mum standing close to him prior to asking them to talk an expression in Pidgin English.

“Three-peat, that is my third one, one after the other,” he said in a video on BET’s social media page.

Burna Boy keeps on ruling the Best International Act category following his heavenly years, delivering three widely praised collections one after the other.

He delivered ‘Outside’ in 2018 preceding his success in 2019. The arrival of ‘African Giant’ in 2019 saw him proceed with his predominance in the honor in 2020.

He delivered his latest venture, Twice as Tall, in 2020.

During this crazy run, the Port Harcourt-conceived artist likewise got a Grammy win and an assignment.
