Information reaching us indicates that about thirteen (13) shops have been gutted by fire at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region.
The shops located opposite the Kwahu West Municipal Assembly were consumed by the inferno.
We’re told that the Ghana National Fire Service personnel have arrived at the scene but the cause of the fire is yet to be established.
Some of the items consumed by the blaze were electric sewing machines, manual or butterfly sewing machines, electronic pressing irons, dryers, cooking utensils, mirrors, phones and accessories.
