Nineteen Players Arrive In Black Stars Camp Ahead Of Mali and Qatar Friendlies

Head coach of the Ghana Blacstars team, Charles Kwablan Akonnor has assembled nineteen Ghanaian football players to prepare for the two national friendly matches which will come off this weekend.

The players have reported at the Black Stars camp for the international friendlies against Mali and Qatar. 

The players led by captain Andre Ayew and vice-captain Thomas Partey are currently based in Antalya ahead of the games this weekend.

 

 John Antwi and Lumor Agbenyenu who were not able to make it into the list of the nineteen man squad have been both replaced with Caleb Ekuban and Tarique Fosu.

Six of out of the nineteen players would be making their first appearance in the Blackstars team this weekend during the international friendlies.

 

 FC Nordsjaelland superstar Kamaldeen Sulemana, is amongst these young professional players willing to hold the flag of Ghana high

The team will be training today  [Wednesday] after their first exercise on Tuesday as part of the preparations for the soccer encounter.

The players in camp are as follows:

Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Razak Abalora, Benson Annag, Kamaldeen Suleyman, Captain Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Nicholas Opoku, Emmanuel Lomotey, Eugene Ansah, Baba Iddrisu, Gideon Mensah, Thomas Teye- Partey, Samuel Owusu, Yakubu Mohammed, Bernard Mensah, Kassim Nuhu, Tarique Fosu, Alexander Djiku and Joseph Aidoo.
