‘Kwadwo Asamoah And Some Other Black Stars Players Had No Respect For Kwesi Appiah’ — Gyan Reveals

Former Black Stars and Asante Kotoko player, Ntow Gyan has disclosed in an interview that one of the main reasons why our senior national team got themselves kicked out from the ongoing AFCON 2019 was because some of the players had no respect for the coach.

According to him, the senior national team’s head coach, James Kwesi Appiah was too soft, he couldn’t control some of the players, adding that Kwadwo Asamoah was one of these arrogant players.

“Kwesi Appiah was too lenient with the boys. Some of the attitudes of the players show that they don’t respect him. He couldn’t control some of them.”

“The players didn’t help Kwesi Appiah, they were tactically indiscipline, some of them did whatever they want to on the field, Kwadwo Asamoah is one of such players.”

“It seems like we can’t control these boys when they come to play for the nation, they don’t exhibit the same attitude at their club level,” he said on Happy FM.
