Highlife musician Bisa Kdei is now hailed as the king of fake news, and probably Ghanaian version of ‘Jussie Smollet’ since he is good at creating and asking bloggers to write fake stories on his behalf.
Flashback to May 2018, where reports crawled in that Bisa Kdei had been arrested in the US, well, the ‘Mansa’ singer came out to debunk the news claiming he has never been arrested.
In his defense, he revealed that the stories were fake and written by some people in the industry who wanted to stain his brand.
Well, as to whether Bisa has been telling lies, we can’t really tell, however, a renowned blogger, David Mawuli has revealed the truth behind those reports.
According to the blogger, Bisa and his team deliberately published news on his arrest in the US for hype.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, the blogger alleged that the story was fake and was schemed to bring some buzz around the artiste who had been out of favour from the public for a while.
In addition to this claim, he mentioned that most of these artistes are corn artistes and will do anything for hype.
“Most of our celebs are corn artistes.. they will come and say they need you to fire a story for them. Bossu Kule is Bisa Kdei’s PR and sometimes he sends the mail to our PM, and calls us if we haven’t published the story.. One time i woke up and saw ‘Bisa Kdei has been arrested in the US whilst shooting a video’, and i published it because I trusted Bosu Kule… and later he comes put to bash bloggers, “gossips24.com captured
