Behind The Scenes Of ‘Lion King Album’ Reveals How Beyonce Found Shatta Wale (video)

Award-winning R&B singer, Beyonce has finally release BTS of the making of ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album which featured Ghana’s dancehall king, Shatta Wale.

The behind the scenes of the making of the Afrobeat album which tells the story of African culture through music was first aired on ABC on Monday.

However, earlier on Sunday night, Beyoncé shared a short teaser of the documentary, which she wrote, directed and produced.

Fans were given an insight into the grueling creative process, seeing the mother of three brainstorming in meetings, and in the studio recording tracks for the ambitious album.

The documentary shows the making process of each song on the album. Ghana’s Guiltybeatz and Shatta Wale made an appearance in the 40:44 minutes documentary.

From the documentary one can tell than Shatta Wale was picked from Ghanaweb, after a team member of Beyonce scouted the best artiste in Ghana online.
