Breaking News: Bechem Presec records first coronavirus case

Information reaching Gossips24.com indicates that Bechem Presbyterian Senior High School (PRESEC) has confirmed first case of COVID-19 in the school.

The assistant headmaster of the school for academics in an interview on Accra FM disclosed that the student started showing symptoms a week after reporting to school.

He said; “The student came to the school’s clinic complaining he was not feeling fine; he could not smell properly neither did he have sense of taste. Though he reported he was ill, he is still strong even till date.”

After he reported, Mr Boamah disclosed the school nurse immediately reached out to the Bechem Government Hospital which was quick to test the student for COVID-19.

Prior to the report of the positive status, the Assistant Head explained the student was subjected to assessment and psychological therapy to welcome his results without panic.
