Becca Finally Clears The Air On Stealing ‘John Cena’ Song

Ghanaian songstress, Becca has finally reacted to claims by some music lovers that she stole South African musician Sho Madjozi’s ‘John Cena’ song which became a global hit.

Becca was heavily trolled on social media for stealing a song belonging to Sho Madjozi for her new single dubbed ‘No One’ featuring Busiswa and Dwp Academy.

The beat and the rhythm of both songs are the same except the variation in lyrics. Becca has now come out to address the issue.

Becca finally opened up on the issue for the first time in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM.

According to the mother of one, she has a nice relationship with Sho hence since she has not complained, she finds it difficult to understand why people are making noise all over.

“Sho Madjozi owns the song and she hasn’t come out to say anything? In this virtual world? its been three months since I released the song and people don’t even know the relationship I have with her.”

There are different genres of music. In South Africa, there are many beats there. I chose to do Gqom beats. If you listen to the two songs, they all sound alike. If we play 10 Gqom beats, you will be wondering if they are all the same song.” she added
