Since last week after he had an interview with BBC and declared his intention to be called into the black stars squad for the 2022 world cup to be held at Qatar, Asamoah Gyan has sparked debate on whether the Ghanaian coaches should call him to the squad or not.
Stonebwoy is the latest celebrity to share his thoughts on his colleague musician’s case. According to Stonebwoy, who was speaking in the studios of Hitz FM with Andy Dosty, Asoah needs to enjoy the attention at this last minute. In other words, he thinks the Black Star skipper deserves a callup as an honour.
He said:
When people have worked so hard and have broken so many records for Ghana, we really need to celebrate them. Let’s not just say it.
We need to deliberately focus on singing people’s praises.
Asamoah Gyan is like a big brother to me. He is a big legend. He deserves our attention for this minute.
