Black Stars striker and general captain, Asamoah Gyan also known as Baby Jet has made a shocking revelation on what led to he losing the captain band to Dede Ayew.
Asamoah Gyan has revealed that he did not enjoy captaining the senior national team, the Black Stars of Ghana during his 7 years tenure.
Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM as monitored by Gossips24.com, Baby Jet hinted that journalists played a key role in his 7 years of sadness and finally caused him to lose the arm band.
“I keep asking myself why is it that during my time I didn’t enjoy the captaincy,” he questioned.
“7 years of my captaincy I didn’t enjoy it because of journalists.”
“I will blame journalists because they are always creating issues by setting the agenda when there is none”, he lamented.
Gyan also disclosed what he thinks about Dede Ayew and what he should have done instead of accepting the role to be captain.
