Angel Obinim was born on 29th August 1977 at Abuakwa Sepaase to Agya Obinim and Mama Abena. He’s the 4th out of 6 children. The magician pastor had both his primary and JHS education in his hometown.
After completing JHS, he was not able to further his education to the secondary level as they was no money at home hence he started his pastoral ministry by preaching at the market centres and in the streets.
Angel Obinim once revealed that he always wanted to become a footballer when he was a child although he loved God very much, he bused to play in the same team with another admired man of God in the country, Rev Owusu Bempah.
After preaching the world of Go at public places for a couple of years, he began his “International God’s Way Church” in a school classroom with less than 10 members but with the firmness of purpose of becoming a globally acclaimed pastor, he didn’t give up on his dreams.
In the early 2000s, he was able to acquire land at Kenyase Bosore to start the building of his Church. With the favour of God on his side, his denomination became a mega Church in Ghana just after 4 years of starting his professional career in the Lord’s ministry.

In August 2016, one of his female church members revealed that Bishop Dr. Daniel Obinim appeared and performed an Angelic Miracle for her whiles he (Bishop) was in police cells.
She told International God’s Way Church congregation in Kumasi that someone was owing her some amount of money and had refused to pay but Angel Obinim commanded the man who was owing him to come and settle his debt.
In July 2019, Angel Obinim appeared in the dream of one of his male congregants who had a small p3nis to give him a new huge one.
In June 2020, Angel Obinim generated yet another sensation on social media after he changed a stone into gold.

Obinim was caught on camera in 2014 stepping on a woman’s tummy in the form of “deliverance.” As a result, Amnesty International in Ghana demanded that he be charged with assault.
He also publicly flogged two pregnant teens on live television in August 2016, accusing them of fornication and plotting to abort a pregnancy, sparking public outrage after the footage went viral on social media.
Angel Obinim was caught on camera quoting a Bible verse that was incorrect, he claimed that “God said I forgot” in Exodus chapter 2 verses 22 to 23 but a quick check in the Bible says otherwise.
