Ama K Abebrese schools Becca for calling Africans hypocrites
Ghanaian tv producer, Ama K Abebrese has lectured songstress Becca following a tweet the latter made on the ongoing campaign against racism which Africans have taken upon themselves to support their kiths in America.
Becca has been trending on twitter for the past 17 hours after the musician shared her thoughts on the discussion around ‘Racism’ after numerous Africans added their voices to the call to end black killings all over the world.
Becca made a tweet which did not go down well with Ghanaians on twitter as she called them hypocrites. Her tweet reads; “You are here in Africa fighting and advocating racism in the US but in your church/home, you are criticizing and judging someone for marrying a fellow African because they are not from your hometown/country/church… Damn Hypocrites!!!”
However, movie producer Ama K Abebrese who strongly disagree with Becca asked her not to compare tribalism to racism.
She said; “It is incomparable to equate the fight for the systemic racism in the USA to African tribalism in marriage and hypocrisy”
She also added that Becca could have aired her opinion on African tribalism without attaching it to the ongoing fight against cop killing blacks in America.
