Alfred Oko Vanderpuije ties knot with girlfriend 7 years after losing his first wife
The Member of parliament for Ablekuma South Constituency in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana Hon. Alfred Oko Vanderpuije has married his girlfriend 7 years after he lost his first wife.
Alfred Oko Vanderpuije who was the former Mayor of Accra successfully tied the knot with his new beautiful woman Cynthia Amerley Atiku at a private ceremony held at Mamprobi in Accra today 5th December 2019.
Mr. Vanderpuije lost his late wife, Gifty Naa Adei Vanderpuije, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in June 2012, exactly 7 years and a few months ago after being together for over 30 years.
His late wife, Gifty Naa Adei Vanderpuije was pronounced dead at Korle Bu after a short illness.
Alfred Oko Vanderpuije is a Ghanaian politician. A Jamestown native, he was born and bred at Mamprobi, Darkuman, and Dansoman at various stages of his childhood.
He was the former Mayor of Accra, installed in that office by President John Atta Mills in 2009 and completing his second term in 2017.
