Concerned youth of Okyeman, took to the streets of their communities to express their outright displeasure at John Mahama’s “Akyem Sakawa” comments.
These gang of youths were holding placards with inscriptions which indicates that they will boycott both John Mahama and the NDC come 7th December’s general elections.
According to the youth of Okyeman, John Mahama should retract his “Akyem Sakawa” comment and render a due apology to the Akyem Traditional area for tagging them as an organized body of criminals.
It can be recalled that some few days ago, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama described Akuffo Addo’s government as “Akyem Sakawa Mafias”.
This unfortunate comment from the former president has been critically condemned after it went viral on the Ghanaian digital community.
