Akwaboah Steals Underground Artiste’s Song

Ghanaian highlife singer, and son of the Legendary singer Kwadwo Akwaboah snr, aka Akwaboah has been accused of stealing an underground artiste’s song.

The accusation hints that Akwaboah has stolen a song dubbed ‘Obiara W) problem’ by one budding Ghanaian musician, K. Bibini.

According to the accuser K. Bibini, his song and the song ‘Problem’ Akwaboah wrote and featured Nautyca has the same concept reason he strongly believes the ‘Hye Me Bo’ singer has stolen from him.

He explained that the ‘Problem’ song has same introduction and the concept of the rich and the poor having problems, but to completely steal the song from him he (Akwaboah) decided to use names he didn’t mention in the song.

Sitting down with Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz 103.9FM, K. Bibini revealed that he has been working on his song ‘Obiara W) Problem’ over a decade now and realised Akwaboah born Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr, had stolen his concept when he listened to the song.

Detailing how he got to know the celebrated singer and songwriter had stolen his concept for a song he wrote, the unsung musician indicated that he started with promotions, but a radio presenter sent him a link that he had heard a song similar to his that was when I noticed that the chorus was similar to his.
