Akuffo Addo’s achievements are the best; Compared to other Presidents in the fourth republic – Dr Bawumia boasts

The Vice-President Of the Republic; Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has publicly communicated that the Akuffo Addo led NPP government has completed more than 8,746 infrastructural projects since they assumed office in January 2017.

Hence making this unprecedented achievement the best when we are to compare with other governments in the fourth republic, Gossisp24.com reports.

Speaking at the Town Hall Meeting & Results Fair held at the Nation’s capital, Accra yesterday, Dr Bawumia said;

…Of these, we have completed 8,746 and there is 8,588 ongoing,

The investment in infrastructure by the NPP government over the last three years has been massive. I dare say our investment in infrastructure, our infrastructure record, is second to none for any government in its first term under the Fourth Republic..

…Notwithstanding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the completion times of some projects, the data indicates that in the fourth republic, no government has achieved as much in its first term of office in terms of infrastructure projects it initiated its first term as the NPP government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo…

The Vice- President additionally rubbished claims by the opposition party NDC which alleges that the sitting government has abandoned all projects which were under construction they took over power after the 20126, presidential elections.

On the authority of Dr Bawumia, the Auffo Addo led NPP government has completed 16 out of the 30 projects which were under construction during John Mahama’s era.
