Ghanaian politician and founder of Ghana Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) Madam Akua Donkor has opened up on an assassination attempt that was made on her.
According to her, the thief who had come to steal from him made away with a lot of items which included her GHC 7,000 and other valuable items.
Akua Donkor who was speaking during an interview on Kumasi-base Angel FM revealed that a man who claimed to be a supporter of his team came into her office to encourage her to never give up on becoming the president which led to her taking him to her house where the man stayed for days.
She further revealed that the man stayed with her house for some days but ended up fleeing without her knowledge after he stole a lot of stuff from her.
“I was at my office when the person came to me, saying he is a party member and voted for me in the 2020 election and has come to encourage me not to give up.
“So I took him to my house where he stayed for days, dined and had conversations with my driver but eventually left on my blind side. He took my money and bag with other items,”
Akua Donkor further added that tho she hasn’t reported the issue to the police yet she is going to do that very soon.
