ADVICE: It Is Stupid To Put Your Career On Hold And Help Someone – Kontihene on Kwabena Kwabena’s fall out

Nana Kontihene has advised colleague industry players to desist from putting their careers on hold to build others else they risk looking stupid at the end.

Headline of the Royal Family Entertainment, Nana Kontihene has advised colleagues to think twice before they consider unearthing talents.

We recall that Kontihene groomed Kwabena Kwabena to make him what he is now, but the two fell out after Kwabena Kwabena sounded ingrate to “his former boss”. This comes after Kwabena debunked reports that the  ‘Asesa’ hit maker brought him to the lime light and never invested in him.

Well, speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm’s Showbiz Review today, the Asesa singer expressed his gross disappointment in the efforts he had put to make Kwabena what he is today.

According to him, he regrets for wasting his time and putting his career on hold for an ingrate like Kwabena Kwabena.

“Putting your career on hold and building someone is a mistake. What did I get from what i produced? I had to put my career on hold and concentrate on building a brand or someone so i think it was stupid of me to that”

Asked whether it will be stupid for an artist to unearth and build another, he replied

“Yes, not to put yours on hold, even the scripture says love your neighbour as thy self. You can’t just close yours and build somebody’s, it doesn’t make sense.”

The Royal Family Entertainment boss, admitted however that he made some money from the album Kwabena released under his label, but regrets sacrificing all of it for him.
