Abeiku Santana Is A Thief – Lucky Mensah fumes

In the wake of calls made by stakeholders in the Ghana music industry to fight ‘Payola’ it is disheartening to still see some individuals play their part in making the industry a thriving one.

Ghanaian highlife musician Lucky Mensah has fingered ace broadcaster Abeiku Santana of charging him before playing his songs on radio.

Lucky Mensah in a recent interview accused the OKAY FM presenter of taking ‘Payola’ before he accepted to put his song on the presenter’s music playlist.

Airing his grievances, the ‘Come Back’ hitmaker described Abeiku Santana as a liar for claiming he marketed his songs in the US deceiving Ghanaians.

“He took payola before playing my songs. He did not do that for free so he cannot say he has helped me to promote my music,” he noted.

‘Payola’ is a termed used in Ghana’s music industry which means to pay an amount of money to induce someone here in this case a radio presenter in order for him to play your music on radio.

Lucky Mensah threatened to beat him anywhere he meets him but will not take him to any ‘juju’ man to deal with him.
