Ghanaian veteran actress Grace Omaboe popularly known by all as maame dokono has revealed that the country must erect a statue in her name.
The actress speaking during an interview with blakk Rasta revealed that she has contributed a lot to the movie industry in the country and helped raised the standard of the Ghanaian film industry.
She further added at though there is a park that has been named after her, she feels a lot more can be done for her than just a park which has been placed in her name.
Maame Dokono revealed that herself as well as her colleagues did all the grounds work that led to the current set of actors and actresses benefiting from their hard work.
She however stated that she is no forcefully calling for the statue to be raised in her name but would be grateful if it is been done for her.
